Who am I

Hello everyone,

You might want to know a bit about who I am. I have been playing blackjack for the last 30 years or so. Not on a professional level, but as an amateur. I really started trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t while I was in the Navy. My mind just seems to work that way.

I spent time on off weekends heading from San Diego over to Vegas and just plainly wasting money. I knew that the tables could be beaten, I just didn’t have it figured out yet.

I tend to depend on math skills a lot in my life and started to apply some of that to the game. It’s all math after all. No guess work involved.

By the time I left the military, my weekend trips to Vegas were always paying off. By that I mean that I always at least paid for my trip. Travel, rooms, expenses, etc. I knew that I had a good thing going.

Life and upbringing have a huge impact on decision making though, and as a result, I never considered becoming a “professional” at the time. You know how it goes. parents, friends, others, saying that you need a “real job”. I just fell for it.

I’d still hit a table now and then for the next couple of decades and my “system” didn’t let me down. I just couldn’t get past the 9 to 5 mentality.

A large portion of my life has been spent in the computer industry and I started to apply those skills to really “figuring it out” when it came to blackjack. It’s all about the numbers. Once I did boy was I shocked.

It’s not rocket science guy’s. It’s math. That’s it. I found a system that just plain works due to the numbers. In the last year or so, I’ve become committed to it and as a result, my life has changed 🙂
